Prima Papa Diner

Today my parents gave me my present from Auntie Sharon and Uncle Doug. They live in a place called Texas. I wonder if they are called Texanese? Texasorean? Anyway, my parents tell me I am Korean and Chinese. But I don't want people to call me a halfie though because that would make me feel as if I am half of something. I much rather consider myself a whole Korean AND a whole Chinese. It sounds much better than a half of something. Anyway, this is all stuff my mommy told me I should say. Sounds good to me, Mommy! Anyway, auntie S and uncle D got me my very own dining chair! It's made so new people like me can sit in it.

******My mommy and daddy wanted everyone to know that no babies nor any baby's eyes were injured in the taking of these pictures.

Thank you Auntie Sharon and Uncle Doug! I can't wait to meet you!

Huh?

Today my parents put me in my swadler and aske me to lay very still. Then they proceeded to laugh heartily. I'm glad they're so happy but...

...I don't get it. What is so funny about laying still?

Daddy Long Legs

Today during one of my parent's photo kicks, my mommy noticed how long and strong my legs were getting.

This gave my daddy the idea that I could stand upright. He sat me down and tried to nudge me up. I had my doubts.

He then proceeded in giving me a helping hand.

I tried to tell him that I was way too young. I'm only two months old and I can barely lift my head without the support of my arm for pete's sake.

but he kept trying...

...and trying...

which only leads to ...

One day, he'll learn. I have faith in him. How can you stay mad at that face.. my daddy is just so dern cute.

Sweet Gestures

Whenever someone visits me, invariably I am picked up and snuggled into their arms. It must be some kind of greeting gesture. It is a nice gesture I think. It gives me a fuzzy feeling all over, especially when Mommy and Daddy picks me up and snuggles me. I can't wait until I grow up one day to return their love by being able to pick them up to snuggle them in my own arms.

Well, until I am strong enough to pick up & snuggle my parents into my own arms, I'll practice by snuggling Mr.Kitty...

baby of many faces

i don't know how to use a mirror yet so you must tell me which is my best side. my mommy tells me i look great from every angle. do you agree with her?

Grandma & Grandpa Lam threw me a party! This day, I turned 30 whole days old. I got to meet all my new cousins and aunts and uncles and grandmas and grandpas.

This is my cousin Brandon. One day I hope to be as cool as he is. He shook my hand with his finger. That made me giggle.

Look at all the people at my party! Everyone came out to a place called Chinatown to celebrate with me and my parents. Wow, so many people that look like me!

Here I am with my mommy. She made me wear this hat. I like it. Do you?

The world and California

This week, I am 3weeks old. To celebrate, Mommy took me for a walk around our neighborhood. She taught me about the trees, the sky, the sun, oh, and what a Walgreens is. I learned that the world is beautiful, especially from this angle.

Here, I show my daddy how much I love him. Do you notice that the size of his thumb is the size of my entire lower leg? I told you he was a giant!

.
My Grandma and Great-Grandma came to visit me from a place called California. I like it when I have visitors because no matter who visits, they always smile at me. This is my Grandma feeding me. She's wonderful.

Here she is giving me a massage. I gave her a Toes Up to show her that I was enjoying it very much.

That's my Great Grandma in the green shirt. She's the greatest. Can you believe she helped raise my mommy when she was a baby like me? Wow, my great grandma is like a legend! I am such a lucky baby. Can you feel the love in this place or what?

Home Sweet Home

Mommy and Daddy put me into a chair and locked me in. I thought I would cry but oddly the contraption was very comfortable. Plus I got to go to my home, where Mommy and Daddy lived while I was in Mommy's tummy. I couldn't wait to see.

It took like a lifetime to get home from the hospital where the nurses live. Even though I slept like a baby (HA, get it? baby?!) in the carseat, I was pooped once we got home.

Once I woke up from my nap break, Mommy fed me and Daddy wrapped me up in my blankie just like my nurses did. He sat me up in this yellow donut thingy. It gave me a chance to take in my surroundings. I loved everything about our house. There is a place for me to rest in every room.

I gave my parents the "OK" sign as my approval. They giggled again. It makes me so happy to see them giggle with happiness. They do that a lot when they see me. I learned a new face. My mom is an expert at it. She taught me how to use my facial muscles to make funny faces. I can't quite hold my head up yet so I used my arm as an anchor. What do you think?
By the end of being home for a week, I was an expert at life. I even learned how to hold up my own bottle.
Here, I give my daddy some words of wisdom on how to take care of me. He listened to me very intently. I am so proud of him. He is the best Daddy in the world.

I like this picture of me.
My life so far has been pretty great. I wonder what else is in store for me... I think I'll dream about it for awhile...
