spa day

i am given a plush terry robe and fuzzy wuzzy bear slippers to change into. a very tall and rather handsome fellow who calls himself "daddy" carries you to your lounge chair.
and oh yes, they are quite fuzzy wuzzy! but next time i'm gonna ask for something a little more fuzzy and a bit less wuzzy. O_o

not too long after you're given your fuzzie wuzzies, you are placed on a plush warm bear rug and prepared for some washin. there is no shame here though because the woman that strips you is called "mommy".

you receive the full treatment of scrubbing and washin.. with padding behind your head, warm water running rampant, i highly recommend this steam bath.

getting the locks washed in this picture. they engage you in conversation all the while so you aren't at all bothered by the running water, inches away from things like EYEs and EARs.

of course the spa day isn't complete without getting my nails done.
towel dried and fluffed up...
ahhhh, i do have it good. if you ever go to mama's & papa's for a spa day, ask for "mommy" and "daddy". tell'em Riley sent you and they'll take good care of you!

me and my bright idea.

When Gramma Kim gave my mom an ugly scarf, my mommy shrieked in horror. She was very delighted at my idea of her re-gifting the thing to... ME!

I don't know what there is not to like about this wonderful piece of .. thing. It's got circles, it's silky soft, and it's versatile!

You can be a babooshka.

You can be an angry sushi chef!

You can be Uncle Jemima

Hahaha. I crack myself up!

Being a baby rocks polka dots!

love always,

riley

While I was MIA, I found..

this.. My thumb!

Me hard at work

Hi All,

In between naps and trips to the muesum with my friend Joaquin I try to find time to update my blog. My mama took a candid shot of me hard at work.

Yea, the font and color look just right. *Have to remember to run spell check

Common... let me finish... give me 5 minutes and I am done...

Ahh, so where was I...

Here is my friend Joaquin. We just spent an afternoon at the Chicago Museum of Science and Indutry. We walked around for about 4 hours and we sure are tired.

We didn't get to ride on the train, but that horn was LOUD!!!

I had loads of fun with Auntie Mir and Uncle Geo!

I was tuckered at the end of our day. Not to mention hungry as my mommy forgot to bring my MILK. But i forgive her.. I GUESS. *heehee* Here is Joaquin lending my papa a hand to hold me up.

It was such a great day, even my parents were sad at leaving.

for more great museum pictures,
visit Joaquin's page : http://jqn.blogspot.com/2006/09/our-visit-to-museum-of-science-and.html

Till next time...

Riley.

Prima Papa Diner

Today my parents gave me my present from Auntie Sharon and Uncle Doug. They live in a place called Texas. I wonder if they are called Texanese? Texasorean? Anyway, my parents tell me I am Korean and Chinese. But I don't want people to call me a halfie though because that would make me feel as if I am half of something. I much rather consider myself a whole Korean AND a whole Chinese. It sounds much better than a half of something. Anyway, this is all stuff my mommy told me I should say. Sounds good to me, Mommy! Anyway, auntie S and uncle D got me my very own dining chair! It's made so new people like me can sit in it.

******My mommy and daddy wanted everyone to know that no babies nor any baby's eyes were injured in the taking of these pictures.

Thank you Auntie Sharon and Uncle Doug! I can't wait to meet you!

Huh?

Today my parents put me in my swadler and aske me to lay very still. Then they proceeded to laugh heartily. I'm glad they're so happy but...

...I don't get it. What is so funny about laying still?

Daddy Long Legs

Today during one of my parent's photo kicks, my mommy noticed how long and strong my legs were getting.

This gave my daddy the idea that I could stand upright. He sat me down and tried to nudge me up. I had my doubts.

He then proceeded in giving me a helping hand.

I tried to tell him that I was way too young. I'm only two months old and I can barely lift my head without the support of my arm for pete's sake.

but he kept trying...

...and trying...

which only leads to ...

One day, he'll learn. I have faith in him. How can you stay mad at that face.. my daddy is just so dern cute.
