Christmas in November

So we stopped by our local big box-mega store-discount warehouse to pick up so Christmas ornaments to start off the decorating frenzy. While walking up and down the isle looking for that perfect color of red, we bumped into a long-time friend. Everybody knows his name NNnnnnorr..... err Santa.

Following the tradition of kids refusing to sit with Santa, this picture is as close as we get to Riles sitting on his lap. I'm gonna get of pic of him on Santa yet, 28 days left to try. (do you believe there is a website for this (http://holidays.bfn.org/xmas/countdown.html). Have a good one ya'll.

Happy Birthday Gina

It was my beautiful wife's birthday on Sunday. We celebrated a wee bit early on Saturday. We started the day by dropping off the Riles at grandma's, then a quick trip to the local Acura dealership to pick up Gina's new ride, before a jaunt to the local sushi spot. Ok so the "quick trip" was 4 hours long, they didn't have the car in stock and the local sushi spot was an hour drive away, it was a great day none-the-less.

Here is Gina enjoying her mochi, a new twist on ice cream cake. Happy Birthday honey!

Have you ever savored your food for just a bit longer than normal. Gina and I both agreed this was probably one of the best sushi we had. Was it the environment, was the fresh fish, was it the cool plate settings, maybe it was because we were just hungry, but it was hmmm... hmmm... good. So if your ever in Evanston, stop by Blu Lounge Sushi. Tell em Tim sent you, and they will give you the craziest look =)

Here are some pictures to enjoy. (Does anyone know what the fish on the right is?)

I can fly, I can fly... Happy Halloween Everybody!

Here I am getting ready for Halloween. It took papa 20 minutes to get me dressed.

It wasn't my fault. I was already running late for my appointment at the salon to get my haircut, then all my pop wants to do is take pictures of me. "Stop with the camera, do you understand the words coming out of my mouth!"

And then moms and pops kept taking my hat away.

I wasn't able to eat any candy (yea right... who they kiddin!) but I had fun sharing with all my new friends in the neighborhood.
