Easter Sunday

Happy Easter everyone!

For Tim's birthday, we made it a weekend for some much needed R & R. During our trip, Grandpa Lam was kind to babysit our little guy Riley for the weekend.







Tim and I drove to the city for a relaxing stay at The Ruby Room where we slept in a luxurious bed, soaked ourselves in the beautiful steam shower, and were pampered to a full body massage at their salon.

Saturday night dinner was at Bob San for sushi to our hearts content where Tim got his first birthday dessert, coffee mochi.

After dinner, we went to see... a movie... but for the life of me, i can't remember which!! It was THAT good. :)

We had Sunday brunch at Milk and Honey Cafe and headed to the Field Museum where Sue lives!

At the Aztec exhibit, Tim tried to lift the Aztec dial,

but he had a much more difficult time than I did..

Sunday evening we dined at Adobo Grill and feasted on yummy Mexican food where Tim had his 2nd birthday dessert, the mango mousse, which looked like a squid on top of a rock:







By the end of our extended weekend, it made for a very content Gina and Tim
